Home House to St James’s to Le Méridien Piccadilly
When your good friend (and ace videographer Andrei) says, “come shoot this wedding with me,” you know it’s going to be a day worth remembering. Vanessa & Mark — she with Asian heritage, he English, both wonderfully laid-back — turned London into their backdrop: from Home House in Marylebone, to St James’s Church, Spanish Place, and ending with a big party at Le Méridien Piccadilly.
Morning at Home House
The day began at Home House, that Georgian townhouse-turned-private-club tucked into Portman Square. High ceilings, gilded details, golden light — the kind of prep space that makes even shoes on a windowsill look cinematic. Vanessa’s calm, Mark’s smile, and zero stress.
Ceremony at Spanish Place
Their vows took place at St James’s Roman Catholic Church, Spanish Place, one of those London churches that hits you with drama as soon as you step inside. It was grand, solemn, emotional — and yet the little looks they gave each other kept it human, personal, and very “them.”
Portraits back at Home House
After the ceremony we returned to Home House for a quick portrait session. Those rooms? Ridiculous in the best way. Velvet corners, sweeping staircases, and gardens that whisper “go on, take five.” They were laughing, relaxed, and gave me all the natural moments I needed.
Reception at Le Méridien Piccadilly
Finally, it was time to celebrate at Le Méridien Piccadilly. Central London energy, marble interiors, chandeliers — the kind of place where speeches echo and dancefloors really pop. Guests cheered through the stories, cried through the toasts, and then filled every inch of floor once the music started. A perfect city wedding crescendo.
Vanessa & Mark — thank you for letting us (and Andrei!) be part of your incredible London wedding journey. From Portman Square elegance to a Spanish Place ceremony and Piccadilly party, it was a joy to capture.
