I do’s in Leicestershire elegance, pints in Leicester after
A few months after our rainy-but-joyful Cambridge pre-wedding shoot, it was time for Bhav & Vinnay to make it official with a civil ceremony at Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire. The venue is a stunner: Victorian country house, sweeping lawns, and the kind of rooms that make even a registrar ceremony feel cinematic.
Civil vows with a smile
The ceremony itself was intimate, warm, and full of little glances between them — the kind of looks that say “yes, this is it.” Beaumanor’s big windows poured in light, and the atmosphere stayed relaxed and personal. No overthinking, just genuine emotion and a few happy nerves.
Portraits & pints
Afterwards we slipped outside for a handful of portraits against the hall’s gardens and brickwork — easy, natural, and very “them.” Then the suits loosened, heels came off, and everyone shifted into celebration mode. The group headed into Leicester for drinks at a local pub, where speeches turned into toasts, and toasts turned into laughter that carried into the night.
Why Beaumanor works so well
Set in Woodhouse, Leicestershire, Beaumanor Hall brings that stately-home backdrop without feeling stuffy. It’s close enough to Leicester for easy logistics, but once you’re in those gardens you feel a world away. Perfect for couples who want history, character, and photos that breathe.
Bhav & Vinnay — thank you for letting me follow your story from Cambridge to Beaumanor Hall and into Leicester city streets. Civil vows, countryside portraits, and a pub party: proof that simplicity can still feel epic.
