A day of portraits, puddles, and far too much laughing
Before their epic multi-day Indian wedding in Leicester, we met Bhav & Vinnay in Cambridge for a pre-wedding shoot. And honestly? It felt less like “work” and more like catching up with old friends — just with cameras, some golden light, and eventually, a very soggy finish.
Strolls, smiles, and sneaky rain
Lucia and I joined them in the city for portraits around the classic Cambridge backdrops: cobbled streets, riverside walks, little courtyards that feel like film sets. They were relaxed, playful, and couldn’t stop laughing — which meant half my frames are joy, the other half are joy plus someone mid-giggle. Toward the end, the skies opened, but they didn’t flinch. Why I love pre-wedding shoots
They’re a chance to slow down before the madness of the wedding. To wander, chat, and capture two people as they are — no timeline, no stress, just connection. For Bhav & Vinnay, it set the perfect tone: fun, spontaneous, and full of energy.
