Love, family, and a simple “I do”
Some weddings are about grandeur. Others, like Manisha & Ash’s civil ceremony at North Mymms Park in Hertfordshire, are about the quiet joy of keeping it small and meaningful.
With just a handful of their closest family, they tied the knot inside one of the elegant rooms of the house. No big entrances, no loud music — just warm smiles, heartfelt vows, and that special hush that comes when everyone in the room really matters.
Afterwards, we stepped outside for a short stroll and a few portraits. The late-autumn colours framed them beautifully, and even though the day was simple, it felt complete. Sometimes less really is more.
Why I Loved This Wedding
The best part of small weddings is how much space there is for connection. No rushing, no long timetables, just time to breathe, laugh, and focus on each other. For me as a Hertfordshire wedding photographer, it’s about noticing those small looks and fleeting moments that might be lost in a bigger crowd.
Manisha & Ash — thank you for letting me document your intimate autumn day at North Mymms Park. It may have been small in scale, but it was big in heart.
