A vibrant Indian wedding at Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross celebrating Amisha & Dhiren’s love
When a couple books you again — like for Dhiren’s brother’s wedding before — you know you’re in for something special. That’s exactly how I felt when Amisha & Dhiren reached out. It wasn’t just another booking; it was a chance to capture another chapter in a family I already cared about.
Their wedding at the Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross had all the elements I live for: vibrant colours, rich traditions, warm laughter, and a dance floor that never got a rest. The morning began with bridal preparations — the kind full of nerves, excitement, and mum telling you to calm down (good luck with that). Amisha looked radiant, every detail carefully chosen, while Dhiren couldn’t stop grinning, sneaking dance steps before even the ceremony began.
The mandap ceremony was beautifully emotional — the rituals, the blessings, the moments when everyone’s eyes drift to the couple and you realize how much meaning is in every gesture. But once the formalities ended? It turned into a full-blown celebration. Speeches had us laughing and tearing up in turns; music kicked in, and suddenly everyone had no space but the dance floor.
Venue Highlight: Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross
The Crowne Plaza in Gerrards Cross is one of Buckinghamshire’s most popular wedding venues for a reason. With its large ballroom, elegant décor, and plenty of room for a mandap setup, it’s perfect for big Indian weddings with lots of guests, dancing, and vibrant traditions. The venue’s flexibility makes it equally ideal for intimate gatherings or full-scale celebrations. Plus, its location just outside London makes it easily accessible for families travelling in.
Amisha & Dhiren, thank you for letting me capture your day (again!). Between the tears, the laughs, and the dancing — this celebration was exactly what I love doing.
