A fun, multicultural London wedding — from a Chinese tea ceremony near Crystal Palace to laughter-filled photos at Greenwich Park!
Some weddings are quiet and elegant… and then there are weddings like Becky & Rod’s — joyful, chaotic, and absolutely unforgettable.
This Chinese–English wedding was a true celebration of love and laughter. Becky and Rod are two of the most spontaneous and fun-loving people you could ever meet — the kind of couple who can turn even a rainy London day into a full-on party. And let’s not forget their adorable black labrador, who was convinced the whole event was actually her big day! 🐾
The morning began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at their home near Crystal Palace in South London, surrounded by family and plenty of smiles. I always love photographing these moments — the perfect mix of emotion, laughter, and tradition.
Next, we headed to Southwark Registry Office for their civil ceremony, a simple yet heartfelt moment that perfectly reflected who they are — relaxed, happy, and completely themselves.
Then came one of my favourite parts — a bright red vintage London bus waiting outside, ready to take everyone to Greenwich Observatory for the photo session. Between the laughter, a few cheeky drinks, and the views over London, it felt like we were all starring in a classic romantic comedy.
The day wrapped up perfectly with a relaxed reception at a cosy pub in Greenwich, where the only plan was to have fun — and they absolutely nailed it.
Becky & Rod, thank you for having me capture your wedding day. It was a reminder that the best weddings aren’t about size or grandeur — they’re about love, laughter, good friends… and a labrador who thinks he’s part of the bridal party.
