Proof that you don’t need a ballroom to throw an unforgettable party.
When F & J invited me to photograph their wedding, they casually said, “It’ll be at home — and then… somewhere else.” That “somewhere else” turned out to be one of the most delightfully unusual venues I’ve ever seen a wedding in. But we’ll get to that later 😉
The day began in the most beautiful way — an intimate Jewish ceremony right in their parents’ living room. Imagine the warm chaos of family hugs, laughter, someone running to find a missing kippah, and that lovely buzz that only a home filled with people you love can create. Under the chuppah, surrounded by smiles and maybe one or two happy tears, F & J made it all official.
Then came the party. And let’s just say — it wasn’t your usual “wedding venue.” Think less crystal chandeliers, more “wow, this actually works!” Somehow, between the great music, the food, and the constant laughter, it turned into one of the most fun, down-to-earth celebrations I’ve photographed.
F & J, you two proved that a wedding doesn’t need to follow the rulebook. All it takes is love, good people, and a space big enough to dance like nobody’s watching.
