S & S’s Wedding at The Decorium
Some weddings feel like a rollercoaster of emotions — and S & S’s day at The Decorium in Wood Green was exactly that. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this was going to be one of those weddings where tradition and celebration blended perfectly.
The day began with preparations full of laughter and family warmth, the kind of atmosphere where you can tell everyone is genuinely excited to see two people come together. By the time the ceremony started, emotions were running high — heartfelt vows, proud parents, and those little smiles the couple exchanged that made it clear how much they mean to one another.
And then came the reception — and The Decorium proved once again why it’s one of my favourite London venues. Its grand hall is made for weddings like this: plenty of space for a big guest list, elegant décor that works beautifully with vibrant outfits and floral displays, and, of course, a dance floor that was in use from start to finish.
The speeches had everyone laughing (and maybe shedding a few tears), and once the music started, it was impossible not to get swept up in the energy. Photographing moments like this never feels like work — it feels like being invited into a family celebration.
