A Cinderella carriage, a thousand guests, and one unforgettable party
Some weddings are big. And then there’s this one. Bricela & Christian’s celebration at Kervan Banqueting Suite in Enfield felt like stepping straight into a fairy tale — complete with a horse-drawn carriage worthy of Cinderella and a dress so grand it practically deserved its own postcode.
From the start, Bricela had all the grace and glamour of a princess, and Christian couldn’t have looked prouder. What made it even more special for me was that they’d found me through their friends Olga & Guelor, whose wedding I photographed before. Walking in, it already felt like being among friends.
The day began in Stratford with bridal preparations, where laughter and selfies filled the air as bridesmaids buzzed around the bride. Christian, a little nervous at first, waited at Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets — but the moment he saw Bricela in that spectacular gown, his face said it all.
And then came the reception… and what a reception it was. With nearly 1,000 guests, it felt like a small city had come together to celebrate. Kervan Banqueting Suite was the perfect stage — glittering lights, an endless dance floor, and so much energy it could have powered London for the night. Honestly, there were so many photographers around it felt like a red-carpet event, but somehow the dance floor still had room for everyone to let loose.
